(KRON) – Two people were arrested after police found a large amount of suspected marijuana and a scale in a vehicle, the Hercules Police Department said.
Hercules police officers stopped a gray 2008 Hyundai Sonata without license plates at 11:54 a.m. on Feb. 14.
According to police, officers conducted a probable cause search. Police said the search yielded a plastic bag of 306 grams (10.8 ounces) of suspected marijuana and a scale, 15 individual bags of 8 grams each, and a scale. “Large amounts” of U.S. dollar bills were also reportedly located on the driver and passenger.
The driver and passenger were arrested and transported to jail.
Police said they found 30 suspected oxycodone pills concealed under the passenger’s pants and additional charges were added.
