I know this video is super old but i was wondering is there specific doctors for being treated? i have my medical card now and im not sure if my doctor would know which strains would work best for scalp psoriasis so i will ask him next renewal
Glad I found this video. I've had moderate psoriasis since my 20s (I'm 58 now), and, like the individual who wrote you, I've tried many prescription steroid-based treatments with little or no lasting effects. About 5 years ago, I was smoking cannabis pretty much every day. After several weeks, I noticed that my psoriasis was improving, and eventually it disappeared entirely. Of course, correlation is not causation, but it did occur to me at the time that perhaps the cannabis had something to do with it. Unfortunately, I'm also bipolar, so the long-term effects of continued cannabis use became detrimental to my mental health. I was forced to stop smoking, and subsequently, the psoriasis returned. I now use an over-the-counter coal tar ointment, which has been more effective for me than any of the prescription medications I've taken. I really miss cannabis, but it caused me to experience extended levels of extreme mania, and I became self-destructive as a result. But everybody's different in that regard. I do think that cannabis is an effective treatment for psoriasis, but only when used in moderation and under the care of a professional like yourself. Thanks again!
My eczema is getting worse. Feel like I'm losing my mind – absolutely nothing works. No matter what products I use, there is never any difference. I've tried dozens and dozens of different cleansers, moisturizers and BP products. Can anyone please recommend a product I've not tried? Something new?
Hi Dr Patel, Thanks for the awesome CBD education. I've suffered from Psoriatic Arthritis for 12 years. Started taking cbd oil a few days ago.and want to know if you recommend topical or ingested. Also, what your thought on this doctors views. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SkvBDdVhXo&t=2s
What is the best form of medical marijuana to treat scalp psoriasis? I'd prefer to use CBD to avoid any psychoactive response. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Dr. Patel, I was hoping you could help me help my grandmother out. She has had chronic back issues for the past 15 years, and recently it has gotten worse. She has 4 issues she has for her back are: -spinal stenosis -degenerative disks -arthritis -some osteoporosis She has tried almost every prescription painkillers that the doctors could offer, and every single one of them has either made her nauseous or feel hazy. She came to me and said that she had seen an article online about medical marijuana and is curious about considering trying it. What would you thought be on the matter? Please contact me back so I could help her find a solution. -Matt from Colorado
Hi Doc thanks for your info on psoriasis. I had it for years in different formats…and today it looks better than years ago. I take the cannabis oil for my trigeminal neuralgia problem and cervical degeneration My own GP has advised that I cut down on a drug called suboxone and try to take the cannabis oil daily. Where I live medicinal cannabis has been legalised by the constitutional court ….which means Im not even sure what im using but it has helped tremendously with my pain. And now that you talking about psoriasis…I can really see a consistent change in my skin and ive had psoriasis for 18 years of my life.
